Spicy homemade hot chocolate
Serves 2
- 1 cup full-cream milk
- 1/4 cup cream
- 100g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 small handful of mini marshmallows, to serve
- Gently heat the milk and cream in a small pot over a low heat.
- Add the chocolate and stir until it has melted.
- Add the sugar or honey, cinnamon and vanilla extract and simmer for 5 mins, stirringconstantly.
- Pour into mugs, top with mashmallows and sprinkle with cinnamon.
